Brand Name Chariots....

I've noticed that the newer wheelchairs have names on them... like cars. Why is this? Is there an elite "Mercedes" class of chairs, or adventurous "jeep" chairs who go where the mild-mannered dare not? What kind of chair do you drive?
Viridian Green

Dear Green thumb,

Wheel chairs do have model names much like cars, but with wheelchairs the names are totally mismatched to the fact that they "ARE WHEELCHAIRS". For instance i recently saw a new wheelchair in development the "Pegasus". It is a state of the art Gyro laden stand a capper upright model (aka most Caps can't afford to look at it).

In Greek mythology Pegasus was a flying horse, now a flying horse and a wheelchair to me are not similar, really the only time you'd be flying in this thing, or out of I should say, is when one of those trusty gyroscopes blows out. Other than that it is a poor name...

Now I drive a "Jazzy" this to is poor name selection, I don't feel Jazzy, I don't move Jazzy; Jazzy seriously, its a wheelchair... so now I will list a few appropriate Chair names that any company is free to use.
  1. The Slug (very appropriate)
  2. Fire Escape Plug
  3. Expensive
  4. Pity Ride
  5. Don't Laugh at Me
oh and the Mercedes of wheelchairs is the iBot by Dean Keaman, thing goes up stairs (all wheelchair go down a flight of stairs once, really well) goes over sand; oh and it is like 25K, so yeah it's awesome to read about. :(
